Questions

Does converting lose any quality?

A little, because JPG is a lossy format — it is re-encoded at high quality, so the difference is very hard to see. Anything transparent becomes white, which JPG cannot avoid.

Is there a file size limit?

No. The conversion runs on your own machine, so the only ceiling is your device's memory.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. Your browser decodes and re-encodes it locally, and nothing is sent to a server.

Is this the same as "convert png to jpg"?

Yes. It also gets called "png to jpg converter" and "png2jpg". They all describe this one job, and this page does it.
